JOSH WOOD ATELIERS
Josh Wood Ateliers, London
Josh Wood calls his Josh Wood Ateliers in London anti-salons, think of them as the first class lounge on your way to hair heaven.
LANSDOWNE ATELIER
In September 2011 Josh launched his Atelier in Notting Hill as a hub for his dream team of talent in the realms of styling, colouring and beauty. Coined the ‘anti-salon’, it is an ever evolving space with art collaborations, bespoke floral arrangements and an interior with unique features like a living wall, custom designed by Yen Yen of Emulsionchitecture.
Think of it as a private salon with personalised ipad playlists, concierge services and delicious, freshly produced dishes and smoothies – all mixed with Josh producing incredible colour for his coterie of clients.
CHEEKY HAIR
The launch of Cheeky Hair by Josh Wood at Barber & Parlour has seen a seismic shift in London as the East/West divide gets considerably smaller. On the first floor of the new Soho House emporium, sits Cheeky Hair by Josh Wood, home to Josh’s emerging team of talented colourists and stylists.
This is not a salon in the traditional sense, combining Josh’s ‘anti-salon’ ethic with East London’s casual attitude to create the ultimate home-from-home enclave – a space to work from whilst being beautified (the perfect multi-tasking enabler), a ‘no appointment necessary’ beauty quick fix before a date or a girly group catch up over manis and blow-outs.
